I have been a top fan of Dorothea Benton Frank and have loved her books in the past but this one flopped and failed miserably short. Although I loved the facts injected about honey bees, that alone was not able to hold my interest. I flipped past chapters with certain characters with zero interest in reading anymore on them. This book just left me greatly disappointed with so much more to desire. I think Ms Frank should stick to her regular wonderful writing style and leave the new-age, political correctness, out of the books. Was disappointed in this book. Ms. Frank's books generally have better plot lines and more depth. The characters were a little unbelievable. Almost felt she was on a deadline and threw something together. I'm sad.
